Class 9F 2-10-0 92156 in BR black
Motor fitted but no DCC socket. Ringfield motor
The 9F was without doubt the best postwar loco type produced in Britain, with a total of 251 built between the years 1954 - 1960. Although Riddles designed the 9F for freight duties they were occasionally seconded to haul passenger stock. The Super Detailed Hornby example is that of the 1957 Crewe built 92158, fitted with a single chimney and partnered by a high capacity BR 1C tender.
Tender driven with a ringfield motor.
