Class 2P 4-4-0 579 in LMS black
Motor fitted but no DCC socket. Ringfield motor
The Class 2P was a light duty passenger locomotive of unspectacular performance but very economical to maintain, due to its robust, simple construction and relatively undemanding workload. Introduced in 1928, the last of the 2P's served until 1962. It is presented here in the LMS livery of the thirties (yellow numbers replacing earlier gold). Ringfield motor in the tender.
Running numbers choice of:
- R2099A - 579
- R2099B - 645
- R2099C - 644
