This train pack contains:

  • Britannia class 7MT 4-6-2 'Black Prince' 70008 in BR lined green
  • BR Mk1 composite coach 'E15133' in BR maroon
  • BR Mk1 composite coach 'E15134' in BR maroon
  • BR Mk1 brake coach 'E34226' in BR maroon

This service operated from London, Liverpool Street in the morning and ran to Norwich Thorpe, Cromer and eventually Sheringham, returning to London the same evening. The service was inaugurated on the 27 September 1948 and was one of the first newly named train services created by the then fledgling British Railways.

This Hornby Great British Train pack features the BR Standard Class 7MT locomotive 'Black Prince' pulling a rake of Mk1 coaches with the livery of all denoting that the model is how the train would have been seen in the late 1950's.
