Hornby R2158 Class 52 D1013 'Western Ranger' in BR blue
OO Gauge (1:76 Scale)
Class 52 D1013 'Western Ranger' in BR blue
Motor fitted but no DCC socket. Ringfield motor
In their heyday, the Westerns and some other WR diesels appeared in a unique maroon livery demonstrating the individuality of the BR Western Region. By the late 1960's standardisation of livery overtook them, yet the blue version still enhances the inherent beauty and power of the 52's. The Hornby model is fitted with a ringfield motor, die-cast metal cab interior and seperate handrails which, like the wheels, have been chemically blackened.
