Class A4 4-6-2 "Kestrel" 4485 in LNER Blue
Motor fitted but no DCC socket. Ringfield motor
Another LNER classically designed loco built at the Doncaster Works. 'Kestrel' was fitted with a corridor tender so that it could be used on the lucrative non stop expresses from London to Scotland, and remained in the LNER garter blue livery from 1937 until 1942. In 1947 'Kestrel' was re-named 'Miles Beevor' and was once painted in garter blue. The model fairly bristles with fine detail and incorporates the ringfield motor in the tender
