Product Description

The name and number dictate this locomotive is a member of the King Class, pride of the GWR, which was said by them to be the most powerful passenger engine in the UK at that time. It is presented here in the GWR livery of 1928 - 1934 and is fitted with a single chimney appropriate to the period. The model is powered by a ringfield motor situated in the tender while the valve gear has a blackened weathered finish, evocative of the locomotive.
